Kata.ai logo reconstruction
This project aims to reconstruct the Kata.ai logogram using the golden ratio concept, enhancing brand awareness.
Background
— 2020 is a historic year for us. As a product design team, we work closely with the marketing team to rebrand Kata.ai as part of kata.ai's new history. We all know that 2020 is a challenging year for all fronts; Covid-19 has changed the impossible in health, education, communications, and business.
Kata.ai is an Indonesian conversational artificial intelligence company focused on understanding human conversation. We aim to empower people by giving them a more human way to interact with technology. After 5th standing, Many questions arise when we talk about the Kata.ai brand and products: What is most people's perception of the Kata.ai brand? To answer this question, we are trying to exercise the brand's Kata.ai.
The logo is one of the most visible parts of a company's identity. Kata.ai logogram, similar to Gojek, Nike, Apple, and etch, is simple, modern, cutting-edge, subtle, and highly recognized.
But we are found some issues from the kata.ai logogram there are :
The shape asymmetry & inconsistent
Curve unbalance and over the shape
For those reasons, we decided to reconstruct the kata.ai logogram. Exercise to make a balanced form and neat.
Design Process
The logo form adopted the golden ratio concept with kerning between logogram and logotype to maintain readability and consistency across platforms to create a mature and modern logo.
With our iconic logo, we can explore several different visual shapes. These modifications to our logo may only be used for internal purposes.

Our logo is a flexible logogram combined with three philosophies: Automate, Humanize, and Interact.

We believe that a good logo should work well in every situation, so we try to apply it to several materials such as stickers, pins, bottles, tote bags, etc.
